Teachers??? I think nobody asks about who they are and what they do. We all know that teacher is a familiar proffesion in an education  sector. We already know that teachers are people who share their knowladge and abilities to others in order to make their students to be smart, talented, and skilled. There is nothing to explain. So, what is the next?

In this article I want to share about my experience as an educator. As I remember, I teach some of my friends since I was in Kindergarden. It is quite a long time ago so I cannot remember every detail, but the most important thing is that my teacher (Mrs. Zul) asked me to help her to teach my friends to learn about how to read Arabic word, like Alif, Ba’, Ta’, etc. When I was in elementary school, I was really interested to play “School World” in which I took a role as a teacher and my friends played as pupils. I did not know why my friends followed me to play such a thing. In my junior and senior high school, I enjoyed to help my friends to learn about mathematics, physics and chemistry (the subjects that containt counting). It did not mean that I am smart but I just wanted to teach them. I did not realize that when I taught my friends, I could learn something.

The experience continued to my college world, I can earn money by teaching. Besides going to class, doing some assignments and joining organizations, I also worked as a tutor in private institution and a teaching assistance in my university. Now, while I am preparing to pursue my postgraduate, I am working at some private institutions. In the future, I want to be a lecturer, a scientist and a proffesor.

So, why do I really really enjoy teaching? The answers are first I am glad if someone smiles because they understand what I explain. Second, I am happy if whoever the person, that I teach, passes the examination and be a successful one. Third, teaching is my refreshing. Fourth, I want to share to others about what I learn because sharing knowledge is a kindness. There are  actually still more reasons, but at last, I want to inspire people that when people look at me, they want to change their live to be better as well.
