Learn Basic English with children. Doc: RR Padang

19 November 2023, Regional Representative (RR) Padang visited and shared with the Aisyiyah Orphanage at Balai Gadang, Kec. Koto Tangah, Padang City, West Sumatra. The orphanage has 23 orphan girls. This activity aims to share knowledge and experience, build motivation and share joy. Attended by grantees from Padang State University, Andalas University and Bung Hatta University.

The activity started with morning exercises, followed by sharing about mental health among teenagers, learning basic English, games and ice breaking as well as motivation sessions. The children were very enthusiastic in participating in the activities with lots of laughter and fun. Carrying the theme “Satu Langkah Kecil dengan Semangat Berbagi”, we hope that RR Padang can help and share, regardless of differences. From this visit, RR Padang will continue to schedule sharing activities at the Aisyiyah Orphanage. Apart from that, RR Padang also hopes to help the Orphanage with various infrastructure such as bookshelves, prayer mats and other needs.
