Coinciding with the opening of the VDMI Online Registration System (10 February 2024), Regional Representative (RR) Medan held a VDMI Scholarship Socialization via Zoom Meeting. 405 participants took part in the activity from 14.00 WIB – 16.00 WIB. The number of participants this year increased from previous years.

The activity was opened by Desman Hura (grantee from University of Sumatera Utara) as moderator and continued with singing “Indonesia Raya”. Parche Manoto (Executive Director of YVDMI) expressed her appreciation to participants who came not only from Medan area. She informed participants to register and remain careful in filling out the form. In harmony, Nopri Sinaga (Chairperson of RR Medan) encouraged participants to take advantage of the opportunity for socialization in the form of questions about registration.

Discussion and QnA about the Online Registration System

An explanation of the Online Registration System was delivered by VDMI Staff (Panji Pradipta and Dios Larosa) and sharing session from grantees by Muhammad Setiawan (grantees of the University of Sumatera Utara). Participants are given the opportunity to register directly and be guided by VDMI Staff. Participants also ask questions and are answered immediately when they experience problems. The activity closed with an interactive games session. Thank you to the committee for trying to provide information for VDMI scholarship applicants.
