February 8, 2025 (two days before the opening of the VDMI 2025/2026 Online Registration System), the Medan Regional Representative (RR) held a socialization of VDMI scholarship registration through Zoom Meeting. 263 participants attended online. It was opened by MC (Muhammad Setiawan – grantee University of North Sumatra), followed by prayer and singing the song Indonesia Raya. First, a speech by Pariasih Manoto (Executive Director of YVDMI). Next, a speech from the PIC University of North Sumatra (Rahma Yurliani, M.Psi., Psychologist.), PIC Medan State University (Akmal, S.Pd., M.Pd.) and Chairperson of RR Medan – Yesayas Roganda Rumapea.

Socialization was divided into several parts. The first was about the History of VDMI and the Rights and Obligations of VDMi Scholarship Recipients delivered by Imbung Nurwanto (Finance, Taxation and Compliances). The second part is about the procedure for registering for the VDMI scholarship by Angger Panji Pradipta Budi (Scholarship Administration Officer). Finally, sharing from Yani Mariani (grantee Medan State University) about tips and tricks to pass the scholarship. After the presentation by the three speakers, it was continued with a question and answer session with the participants. The activity ended with an interactive game through Quizizz and a group photo. It is hoped that this activity will provide information related to the VDMI scholarship and increase those who will register from the Medan Region and other areas.
