Saturday, August 30, 2025 Regional Representative (RR) Ambon held a literacy event at Pattimura Park. Attended by 10 alumni and grantees, this event aimed to foster an interest in reading amid developments that have made the younger generation more inclined to scroll through social media. This event has been held several times and has received positive responses from those who attended.

Each participant read a book of their choice within a designated timeframe. The alumni and grantees were engrossed and fully focused on reading for several minutes. After the reading session, the alumni and grantees shared reviews of the books they read and gained confidence in expressing their opinions. They conveyed their impressions and conclusions about the books they read. Additionally, this opportunity served as a room for building relationships among the VDMI Family by exchanging stories and life experiences. See you at the next activity.
