Airlangga University held an online socialization of the VDMI 2023 scholarship on January 21, 2023 (zoom meeting). Speakers from Van Deventer-Maas Indonesia successfully provided information on the flow and mechanism for applying for scholarships. Participants remained enthusiastic about following until it was finished.

Herdina Indrijati, M.Psi as the PIC of UNAIR VDMI opened the event. The event which was attended by approximately 200 students was interactive. VDMI Officers (Imbung Nurwanto, Panji, Alip and Dios) provided socialization regarding VDMI in general and the requirements for applying for scholarships. In addition, two VDMI alumni (Nofita Firdaus and Betty Indah) shared what they felt and received while being grantees and now as VDMI alumni.

The VDMI profile video is shown to introduce the educational and historical significance of Van Deventer-Maas. Many activities have been carried out by VDMI including Capacity Building (offline or online), Excellent Writing, Social Project and others. This year VDMI also opened opportunities for students with disabilities and several new majors to be able to register.
