The existence of children who live on the street is clearly a big problem for their own life. Ideally, street is not an appropriate place to live, especially for children at their age. They don’t have many choices of life. They have to live on the street which can lead them many negative effects such as discrimination, violence, and free sex. They even do not realize their rights and how to protect themselves from the threat and violence.

Another problem is the limited access of social public service and education. Their environment and surrounding take a role to create their character and behavior. The characters which are usually shown by them are aggressive, temperamental, and stubborn.

To solve this problem, the proposed method to be included in their activity can be conducting to align their mindset and behavior. Based on this reason, VDMS RR Bandung –Jabodetabek initiated to conduct the event of designing BATIK and simulation together with street children as a form of social care and a responsibility of next nation generation. Designing BATIK was chosen to give them opportunity to get their spirit and improve their imaginative creativity. It also could be an unforgettable additional experience for them. Inspiring them by simple thing also gave them a way to enhance their concentration, patient and precision. As keeping the Indonesian heritage, it also could be first educative introduction and learning way.

This program was also an appreciation for the street children who have good art sense. Hoping that their creations can be displayed at many important events to get society appreciation. It should show that they can contribute in other form of art, not only music. Therefore, VDMS RR Bandung-Jabodetabek believes that it is important to be supporting part to lead them to achieve their meaningful achievement in real effort.
