Going the extra mile is the motto of Pemuda Indonesia Peduli Sampah (PIPIS) that initiates Caring the Ocean event on Sunday, January 12th, 2020 at Air Manih Beach, Padang. The event was enthusiastically attended by the members of Regional Representative (RR) Padang such as Suci, Fithri, Mona, Henny, Esa, Ami, Putri, Eka, Anggi, dan Uul. From 3.30 PM to 5.30 PM, the event was successfully held because of guidance and instructions from PIPIS. With additional participation from the Ocean Care Project community, the event becomes livelier. Caring for the Ocean event is one of the real actions of youth’s participation to show their role in a sustainable environment. The event was closed by a photo session and a discussion between RR Padang and the Ocean Care Project community to plan the follow-up event in the nearest future.
