Yogyakarta was going to “Wake Up”

On May 2016 the RR Yogyakarta started to have a meeting attended by 7 Alumni, 9 grantees, and the Office Manager. The meeting was held in VDMS Yogyakarta Office.

The 2nd meeting was held on May 21, 2016

There were 2 options of activities:

1. Bimbingan Belajar di Panti Asuhan Pondok Asih Harapan

The project of “Bimbingan Belajar” has to be sustainable – at least twice in a week and need a strong commitment from the coaches (the alumni).

It lasted from May 26 up to the end of June 2016 (3 times a week).

The team members in this project are: Ria Stefani (UGM), Layung (USD) , Dina (USD), Alenda(UGM), Nofri, Resky (UKDW), Kunti (UGM), Noy,  and Noval (USD) for SD, SMP and SMA. The goal of this project is to guide the students to face school examination. Coordinator in this project was Perikila Dina Kali Kulla

RR Yogya was collected the contribution in the first Meeting

Ria Stefani also did her role as a consultant of psychology to 2 students in the orphan house who have a problem in their attitude.

Hopefully the activities will continue after a long holiday of Lebaan.

Plan to have an evaluation meeting on next 6 August – also for Halal Bihalal gathering.

It’s really a great spirit of the whole team – and solid team work.

 2. Bimbingan Bahasa Inggris for the Society of  “Sadar Wisata” in Pantai Gua Cemara – Yoygyakarta

The other project was English Lessons as a important language for the Society of Sadar Wisata due to their intention to promote Gua Cemara as an Education Tourism area.

Involved in this project were Siti (UGM), Ria Stefani (UGM), and Andreas (UKDW). The project started on May 27 up to mid June 2016 – once in a week, to be continued in early of August lead by Siti.

Bimbingan Bahasa Inggris for the Society of “Sadar Wisata” in Pantai Gua Cemara – Yoygyakarta
