Saturday, February 3 2024, the Directorate of Student Affairs at Airlangga University (UNAIR) held a VDMI Scholarship Socialization at 09.00 WIB via Zoom Meeting. 200 participants attended to find out about the VDMI scholarship. It was opened with remarks from the Director of Student Affairs at Airlangga University (Prof. Dr. M. Hadi Shubhan, S.H., M.H., CN). He said that Airlangga University was very open and welcomed VDMI scholarships positively by increasing the number of VDMI grantees at UNAIR. He hopes that more students will apply for the VDMI scholarship and take advantage of the scholarship.

The activity continued with an introduction of VDMI by Imbung Nurwanto (Finance, Taxation and Compliances). This provides an overview of what VDMI provides to grantees. Followed by a motivational session by Herdina Indrijati, M.Psi, Psikolog (PIC UNAIR). She said that many UNAIR students were helped not only through monthly scholarship funds, but also through capacity building with an activities. The activity continued w explanation of the VDMI scholarship registration flow by Panji Pradipta (Scholarship Administration Officer) and a sharing session with Nabella (VDMI grantee). Nabella talked about her experience of attending a Citizenship Workshop in Nekamese, East Nusa Tenggara which was organized by VDMI for free.

The activity closed with a question and answer session and a group photo. Mrs. Herdina hopes that with this outreach, prospective grantees will be able to get to know VDMI and register themselves.
