Saturday, August 10, 2025, VDMI Universitas Tanjungpura (UNTAN) held a meeting at Jojo Juice Cafe, K.S. Tubun, Pontianak. The meeting was themed “Mengupas Seni Melalui Esai Populer,” creating a relaxed yet deep and personal atmosphere. Grantees shared and discussed their personal essays related to artworks—whether music, film, novels, or comics—that made them feel alive. 

The purpose of this activity was to express oneself and get to know one another more deeply among grantees. Each essay written provided opportunities for discussion on how to refine one’s way of thinking, feeling, and perceiving the world. Additionally, this activity fostered openness to listen and share. 

Art serves as a bridge connecting one individual to another. This discussion reminds us that every perspective is worthy of being heard. Today’s activity concluded with a deeper understanding, embracing new and unique perspectives, and appreciating art. Something that unconsciously enters our lives shapes who we are today.
