Sunday, May 28 2023, Tanjungpura University grantees (UNTAN) held “PLOGGING” – Pick Litter Sambil Jogging. Afternoon jogging and continued picking up trash around the Pontianak City Square. This is the first activity of UNTAN grantees after the Regional Meeting in May 2023. The background of this activity is the lack of public awareness of environmental cleanliness and its impact on life. Followed by 7 grantees with high spirits, various types of waste such as plastic, paper, plastic bottles and glass were collected for several hours.

This activity is expected to be an example and motivation for visitors and the community around Pontianak square to care about and keep the environment clean. The activity ended with sharing the experiences of fellow grantees while enjoying the beautiful sunset. It is hoped that in the next activity there will be many grantees involved and carrying out activities for the surroundings.
