Sunday, September 1, 2024, Regional Representative (RR) Ambon returned to activities after a hiatus for a while (with a two-year pandemic). The first meeting was held at Merdeka Square Ambon and was attended by several alumni and grantees from Pattimura University and the Indonesian Christian University of Maluku. One of the objectives of this activity is to get to know each other and strengthen family ties between siblings on Nusa Ina Island, Maluku.

In addition, this meeting also emphasized that the kindness of the VDMI Foundation is not mere fiction. This is an expression of gratitude from grantees and alumni so that it can have an impact on the surrounding environment. Pela Gandong (a bond of brotherhood between siblings) is the focus so as to form a “home” for grantees and alumni. Hopefully RR Ambon can become a “home” for the VDMI Family Ambon and exist with useful activities.
