October 12, 2024, Regional Representative (RR) Ambon held an activity at the Melati Al-Khairaat Ambon Orphanage in Galunggung, Ambon City. 20 alumni and grantees of RR Ambon with children at the Orphanage from 14.00 – 17.30 WIT. RR Ambon realized that alumni and grantees received kindness from Van Deventer-Maas Indonesia, then wanted to share kindness with others. The presence of RR Ambon brought joy, laughter and togetherness to the Orphanage. The activity began with ice breaking with the game “Know Yourself”. This game has a meaning so that we can control our emotions when facing a situation.

The activity continued with a sharing session with alumni and grantees so as to provide motivation to the children at the Orphanage. In addition, this activity can get to know each other and strengthen a sense of family and tolerance. Hopefully this activity is not the first and last, but will continue.
