Saturday, September 21, 2024, VDMI Regional Representative (RR) Medan held a Welcoming New Grantee, which was to welcome new grantees (Medan State University-UNIMED and North Sumatra University-USU) and provide an understanding of the rights and obligations as VDMI grantees, an introduction to RR Medan and VDMI activities. This activity aims to get to know each other as VDMI grantees, grow and develop potential, and be proud to be part of VDMI.

Attended by 42 participants, the event was hosted by Nanda Aprodita Saragih. On this occasion, Akmal.S.Pd., M.Pd (PIC UNIMED) and Rahma Yurliani, M.Psi., Psikolog (PIC USU) gave remarks and supported this joint activity. The activity was continued with remarks by Yesayas Roganda Rumapea (Head of RR Medan) and an introduction to the management. On this occasion, Yani Mariani (UNIMED Grantee) explained about VDMI, the rights and obligations of grantees while receiving the VDMI scholarship. In addition, Theresia Lubis (UNIMED Grantee) also shared about the VDMI Capacity Building activities and RR Medan activities that have been carried out.

Several games were held to increase solidarity and bonding between new grantees and other grantees. At the end of the activity, there was a prize giving for the winners of the games competition and the winners of the poster competition. Hopefully this activity can foster a spirit of togetherness for RR Medan.
