Indonesia is a tropical country located in the equator. There are only two seasons in this country, which are drought and rainy. Drought occurs from April to September while rainy commonly from October to March. The majority of Indonesians are farmers who most affected if the drought season is too long. When the soil is too drying, farmers cannot do plantation. However, the rainy season is not always good news. Due to so many aspects, the flood becomes a routine phenomenon during the rainy season, especially in the capital city of Jakarta.

 

For instance, at the beginning of 2020 Jakarta had a severe flood. People work together to help the victim of flood including the students of Al-Fathonah Midwifery Academy. While doing the internship at one of the government hospitals in North Jakarta, on January 11th, 2020 the students distributed food, clothes, and giving the socialization of the health consequences that might be experienced by the victim of the flood. They went to Kebonpala RT 08, Kecamatan Makasar, East Jakarta. The victim glad that the students willing to help them. Meanwhile, the students can learn empathy by helping the flood victim.
