Thursday, 23 May 2024, VDMI Regional Representative Makassar distributed basic food aid to communities affected by flash floods in Padang-padang and Bonelemo Villages in Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi. The distribution of aid was represented by nine VDMI grantees from Cokroaminoto University of Palopo and Karmila, S.Pd., M.Pd (as UNCP’s PIC).

Previously, RR Makassar opened a fundraiser for flash flood donations in Luwu. The donations collected amounted to one million rupiah which was distributed into 20 basic food packages. This distribution of aid is a form of RR Makassar’s concern for flash flood victims. It is hoped that it can ease the burden on the survivors.
