Following VDMI grantees from other regionals, grantees from Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) also want to contribute for the better of society. A family gathering was held on Monday, September 22nd, 2019 which aimed to make Alumni and grantees of VDMI close to each other. the event was held in Taman Teras UNHAS at 8 AM and attended by 13 people. In the event, Nirwan, one of the VDMI alumni from class 2015 shared the history of YVDMI. From that sharing VDMI grantees from UNHAS understand that their scholarship comes from the hereditary of Coen Van Deventer dan Betsy Maas. The participant felt thank full to the donors who dedicated their wealth for the education of Indonesian youths.
Furthermore, this event created the structure of RR Makassar committee, which is led by Heri Kurniawan, alumnus VDMI from class 2015, for the period of 2019 t- 2020. They expect that this committee and the participants of RR Makassar could collaborate to hold social events and contribute to the better of Indonesia.
