Keeping the good work runs, RR Yogyakarta continues to volunteer on teaching children in Pondok Asuh Harapan from February until March, 2017 under the term “Program Mengajar.” Twice a week, Resky, Dirga, Randy, Noy, Laras, Layung, Tasya, Kadek, Dina, and Noval come to find the enthusiastic welcomes of the children in Pondok. They are very eager to learn as we help them with school assignments, examination preparations, and even new materials.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, March 12th, 2017, there were two special activities in Pondok initiated by us. The first was recycling education. We challenge the children to show their creativity by making recycle product from used materials. At this, they enthusiastically make cute kitty, pencil case, and flower vase. The purpose which was to grow environmental consciousness on them.
Preparation hydroponic system out of water bottles
The second activity was demonstration of hydroponic preparation. Led by Dina, the children learnt to prepare growing media (used bottle) for the seedlings (already prepared by us). The planting itself will be held on Thursday, 16th March 2017. We hope both these activities will be useful for them.
