To lead people, walk beside them (anonymous). Being involved in RR Banjarmasin has brought me to a point that depending on others is never easy. I have to be ready to feel disappointed. Therefore, this program is made as an initiative program to assist the other alumni and grantees to handle the other activities, while this activity is held monthly. Somehow, inviting them to join is not a piece of cake. Among many VDMS alumni and grantees, six people came.
Apart from what I felt, I could see one thing from this 4th month’s TOEFL sharing and training; there are people who still need us. I was disappointed, yet there was a very good response from other people who are interested to join this TOEFL sharing and training. 14 participants who were the non-VDMS alumni and grantees came. These participants were from a dentist, a lecturer, and students of mathematics, biology, history education majors of FKIP ULM. We were glad to welcome them.
The TOEFL training and sharing ran very well. On this 4th meeting (4 March 2017), we discussed Listening Section particularly Skills 1 – 10. There were two tutors (Rizky Amelia and Ridha Deprianita) who guided the training session. Meanwhile, the sharing session was guided by Ridha Deprianita. It was very nice. The participants were enthusiastic to follow the lessons, do the exercise, and ask questions. This activity ran for two hours (from 09.00-11.00 WITA).

In a nutshell, I came again to a conclusion that no matter how hard handling an activity, just do it. We really must do it in hope the other alumni and grantees see that this activity will still run and we are as VDMS alumni and grantees help people around us. Keep our motivation to learn, share, and encourage. Many people still need us.
