Sunday, November 16, 2025, RR (Regional Representative) Makassar made its first visit to the Assyifa Orphanage located on Jl. Tamangapa Raya, Tamangapa, Manggala District, Makassar City. The event was warm and cheerful, attended by the children of the orphanage and the entire RR Makassar committee.

The event was opened by Lidya as the MC, followed by an introduction session between the children of the orphanage and the committee members. An enthusiastic atmosphere was immediately felt when the movie-watching session began. The committee screened two short films with different themes that were meaningful and easy for children to enjoy. This session brought warmth and created a pleasant moment of togetherness. After watching the movies, the activity continued with a story-sharing session, where the children were given the opportunity to express their opinions and interpret the messages from the films they had just watched.

The excitement continued with a session of writing wishes on the Tree of Wishes. The committee prepared an A2-sized picture of a tree of wishes, then distributed pens and notebooks as a token of appreciation for the children. They enthusiastically wrote down their wishes on sticky notes, which were then attached to the tree of wishes. After all the wishes were attached, the activity was closed with a meal together.

RR Makassar expressed gratitude to all parties who supported the event, particularly to YVDMI and to Assyifa Orphanage for their warm welcome. Appreciation is also given to the entire committee for their dedication in ensuring that this event ran successfully.
