Sunday, February 23, 2025, Regional Representative (RR) Padang conducted a beach cleaning activity on Jl. Parkit X, Air Tawar Barat, Padang Utara, Padang. This activity aims to invite VDMI grantees to increase empathy and concern for the environment. Starting at 07.00 am and attended by 27 grantees.

The activity was opened by Sapri Hidayat (grantee Padang State University) with a prayer. Furthermore, the grantees were divided into three groups that would clean the beach area. After each group cleaned their respective areas, the trash was put into plastic trash and transported using a bentor to the landfill. Representatives from RR Padang on this occasion also handed over two trash cans that were placed on the beach. It is hoped that everyone who visits can throw trash in the places provided. Thank you to all grantees who have participated.
