June 11 2023, Grantees from Padang State University (UNP), Bung Hatta University (UBH) and Andalas University (UNAND) with PIC (Person in Charge) held a Social Project activity: Beach Cleanup at Jalan Gajah 6, Air Tawar Village, Padang. Attended by Lolly, S.H (PIC UBH), Deni Suardi, S.Kom (PIC UNP) and 26 grantees. Apart from building empathy and sympathy in keeping the environment clean, this activity also aims to build a sense of togetherness for the VDMI Family.

Grantees RR Padang are passionate about cleaning the beach in Air Tawar Village

Environmental cleanliness is still a problem, including in the city of Padang. Therefore, the Regional Representative (RR) Padang socialized the importance of maintaining cleanliness and raising public awareness of health problems from the impact of a dirty environment. Grantees start by cleaning up waste in the form of tree branches and non-degradable waste (plastic, bottles). Grantees are very enthusiastic because they can share through action for the community. The activity continued with games to build togetherness for fellow VDMI grantees.
